With a NEW start site, all our participants need to plan ahead for the changes. Use the information and maps provided here to develop your plan. Then, go downtown for an adventure and scout the locations that you plan to use for parking. If you plan to ride your bike to the event, ride your bike down the Katy Trail and test the route to City Hall. Plan now so that you can have a relaxed and fun morning on April 3.

Get your packet before the ride and have one less thing to worrry about on Saturday morning.

Parking Information

Parking is available at many street level parking lots throughout the area. We suggest that you park on the NORTH side of City Hall for the easiest access to our start staging area on Young Street in front of City Hall.

The Central Business District is loaded with parking in and around City Hall. There are fees at most downtown parking facilities - and fees at each lot vary. Please plan ahead for this item.

We suggest that you park in the areas immediately NORTH of City Hall, so that you are closer to the start staging areas as well as the Finish Line Celebration at City Hall Plaza.

RIDE TO THE RIDE Lots of people have discovered the Katy Trail as an excellent way to get to Tour Dallas. Avoid traffic and parking fees by cycling to City Hall for Tour Dallas!

From the end of the Katy Trail, travel south on the sidewalk to the intersection of Houston and All Star. Cross Houston at the light at All Star, travelling on All Star to Victory. Turn left on Victory to Continental. Turn left on Continental and then turn right on Houston. Travel to Young Street, turning left on Young Street. Go to City Hall and get ready to ride!

Planning to Ride your bicycle to and from Tour Dallas?

Our friends at The Travis at Katy Trail are sponsoring a "Post Ride Break Point" for participants in Tour Dallas. Just ride home via the Katy Trail. Just after crossing through the "Musical Tunes" section of the trail at Knox, look for The Travis At Katy Trail on your right hand side. Stop on by and see our friends there for some fluids and snacks. They'll be expecting you!

Another option is to ride DART Rail. DART Rail allows riders to travel with their bicycles on the train at no additional cost. This is allowed at non-peak times only – and Saturday morning is considered non-peak time. You should ride the DART Rail to any downtown station and then ride your bicycle to the start site at Dallas City Hall.
